How to Sign Up for the ServeManager Digital Wallet
The ServeManager Digital Wallet provides the ability for process servers to be paid efficiently for their work. Servers can accumulate funds in their wallet and disburse them to their bank at any time. Follow the instructions below to create your wallet and pair your bank account.
Step 1: Log into Your ServeManager Account
Login to your ServeManager account using your credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to the Digital Wallet Feature
Click on the “My Account” link located in the sidebar of the main interface. From there, click on the “Wallet” tab.
Step 3: Verify your Email Address
Before signing up for a wallet you must verify your email address. Click on the ‘Send Verification Email’ button and then check your email to complete the process. Once done you will be redirected back to the wallet sign up.
Step 4: Identify what type of wallet you need
Before signing up, you need to choose whether you need a Business wallet or a Personal wallet. Generally you want to choose a business account if the bank account that you will be connecting to your wallet is considered a business account. Personal accounts are owned by an individual, used for accepting money from an employer, and paying personal expenses. Most contractors and process server employees will fall under the personal account type. Business accounts allow management of overall company funds. They are subject to more regulations and will have to verify their business type, classification, legal name, and Employee Identification Number.
Step 5: Fill out and Submit your application
In order to provide you with your own ServeManager wallet, we will need to verify your identity and/or business information. ServeManager will only use the requested information for this purpose. If you are signing up for a business account, you will need to provide information on a “Company Controller” in order to verify the business identity. If we can not verify your identity immediately, you may be asked to upload a document such as a driver’s license to further assist with identification.
Step 5b: Identify Beneficial Users (Business Type Accounts Only)
For regulatory purposes we need to identify any individual who owns 25% or more of the organization (e.i. investors, managing directors, individual owners). Once you complete Step 4, you will be redirected to your wallet summary page. If you need to provide Beneficial Owner information you will see a button that says ‘Complete Wallet Setup Here’ to complete this step.
Step 6: Connect your Bank Account
In order to withdraw funds from your wallet, you will need to connect your bank account. To do so, navigate to the digital wallet feature and click on ‘Link Account’ found in the “Bank Account” section. ServeManager has partnered with Plaid, a safe, easy and secure way to connect your accounts immediately. If your financial institution is not compatible with Plaid, or if you would rather connect your account by providing your banking details you can click on ‘Link Account via Micro-Deposits’ instead. You will be required to verify micro deposits if you choose this method. This method will take 2-5 business days.
