Minimum Spec Requirements for the Mobile App (Recommended)

iOS
Apple has great support for their array of iPhones, and most recent ones (given that no settings are heavily tweaked) should not have (or experience fewer) issues using the app.

Minimum OS requirement: iOS 17
Minimum Phone requirement: iPhone XR

Suggested Phone: iPhone 13 lineup
Reason: We don’t know when Apple will drop the X lineup from the supported phones to receive future OS updates. The mobile app will have more features in the future; a more recently spec’d phone should give users a little peace of mind when resource-intensive features are added to the app.

Android
Tested several Android OSs via the emulator, and so far Android versions 9 and below show screen lags compared to recent versions.

Minimum OS requirement: Android 10+
Minimum Phone requirement: Any phone with Android 10, but the higher the RAM, the higher OS version, and the best CPU, the better.

Suggested OS requirement: Android 13+
Reason: Based on Play Store console analytics, we have observed fewer user-perceived crashes on Android 13 devices.

Suggested Phones: Google Pixel 7a and up
Reason: Due to long OS support from Google, vanilla Android, and fewer pre-installed applications.
